I’ve been dabbling with individual Amino Acids for mental health for a really long time, perhaps 15 yrs & the ones that really help me the most personally are: DLPA (which is the precursor of Tryosine) or Tyrosine, Taurine, NAC (precursor to L Cysteine & Glutathione) info links are in my side bar list. There are others I’ve tried that didn’t suit me but purportedly work for other brain/ nervous system issues such as Theanine, L-Tryptophan, Acetyl-L-Carnitine & others.
There are whole forums dedicated to very detailed discussion of this relatively speaking very harmless, compared to alcohol use, recreational drugs or the vast majority of pharmaceuticals it’s a very safe & very cheap form of self medication.
A comment on the YouTube video 👇 the second word I believe is Glutathione, the master antioxidant that N-Acetyl-Cysteine is the best precursor of hence you would take either DLPA plus NAC plus Taurine or Tyrosine plus NAC plus Taurine for this Holy Grail anti depressant plus addiction affect. I would add high EPA Fish oil, Phosphatidylserine & Shilajit if you wanted to shot at becoming super human lol & I’m not joking!
With all things natural you should engage in any new protocol for 4-6 months before deciding if you’ve benefited from it or not. I usually notice really fast personally as I have a high response metabolism, nervous system & reasonably high body awareness I think.
